DescriptionTyler Technologies' Federal team is seeking a motivated and experienced Project Manager. We are looking for a highly-motivated individual with strong project management skills and business analysis familiarity that thrives in a fast-paced, team environment. This candidate will have the opportunity to assist in developing systems for the Library of Congress and be responsible for planning, documenting and managing information technology (IT) software development. In addition, this candidate will work closely with clients, management, and team members.   Prior experience managing federal contracts desired.      Responsibilities  Control project timeline and help team members work productively by using effective, agile project management techniques coupled with great people skillsCoordinate and facilitate project meetings internally and externally to disseminate project status and manage client expectationsMaintain project plans and key documentation following company guidelines and standards, like user stories, design specifications, project plans, burn-down charts, status reports, meeting agendas, etc.Conduct interview sessions with clients, management, or team members to elicit and validate functional and technical requirementsWork with clients and project teams to define requirements and acceptance criteria for implementationDemonstrates effective planning, communication, and strategies to manage project risksQualificationsUndergraduate degree in Project Management, Business, Information Systems, Management or equivalentMinimum of five years of related work experience managing IT projects on teams of five or more individualsExperience using agile project management methodologiesExperience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and/or federal security assessments following FISMA guidelinesExperience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook)Experience with federal agencies is beneficialExperience using Atlassian suite of tools (Jira, Confluence, etc.) is beneficialAdditional Duties Demonstrate technical knowledge to interpret and explain technical information and procedures to clients and collaborate with project team members on IT solutionsEffectively manage and control project changes following change management procedures and guidelinesIdentify, track, and communicate project-related issues, scope changes, variances and contingencies that may arise during the project life cycleDemonstrate knowledge in federal security assessments of IT solutions and continuous monitoring strategies following FISMA, NIST and other federal guidelinesDrive project issues to resolution and escalate, as necessaryCommunicate and advise management of project status, risks, dependencies and timelines for project completionSchedule, facilitate and participate in evening code deploymentsWork closely with the development and Quality Assurance (QA) teams to support the design and development efforts and ensure on-time delivery of a quality product that meets project specificationsManage and deliver complex projects and tasks simultaneouslyDemonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, risk management and decision-making skillsCreate detailed and effective project specification documentsPerform basic functional testing and support the QA team, as neededOther duties as assignedAdditional Qualifications     Excellent communication and interpersonal skills at all levels, including verbal and written abilities, editing and presentation skillsFamiliarity with technology/web/eCommerce/cybersecurity projectsStrong leadership, organizational, and prioritization skillsStrong critical thinking and problem-solving skillsStrong Business Analysis background to review documentation and assist when necessaryAbility to pass a thorough background screeningSelf-motivated with the ability to work under minimal supervisionAbility to identify and communicate improvements to drive process efficienciesWorks well with others in a team environmentAble to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously, with clarity and accuracy with little supervisionDesire to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environmentSome work-related travel may be requiredProfessional certifications are beneficial, e.g. Certified ScrumMaster, PMP, PMI-ACP, CAP#LI-LS1   #LI-Hybrid
