As we continue to expand, we are seeking a compassionate and skilled Mental Health Therapist specializing in assessments to join our team remotely.

Position Overview:
We are looking for a licensed Mental Health Therapist with expertise in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments remotely. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, empathy, and a deep understanding of various mental health conditions. This position will primarily focus on conducting initial assessments for new clients to evaluate their mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct remote mental health assessments for new clients using video conferencing or telephonic platforms.
- Gather information about clients' medical history, symptoms, and current mental health concerns.
- Utilize standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews to assess the severity and nature of clients' mental health issues.
- Collaborate with other members of the clinical team to develop tailored treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Provide recommendations for appropriate interventions, therapies, and resources to support clients' mental health goals.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Participate in regular team meetings and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Requirements:
- Master's or doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
- Current licensure as a mental health therapist (e.g., LPC, LMFT, LCSW, PsyD) in the state of residence.
- Proven experience conducting mental health assessments in a clinical or telehealth setting.
- Strong understanding of diagnostic criteria for common mental health disorders (e.g., anxiety, depression, PTSD).
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to establish rapport and communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Proficiency in using telehealth technology and comfortable working in a remote setting.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards in clinical practice.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility to work non-traditional hours to accommodate clients' schedules across different time zones.

**Preferred Qualifications:**
- Experience working with specific populations (e.g., children, adolescents, LGBTQ+ individuals, veterans).
- Training or certification in evidence-based assessment tools (e.g., Beck Depression Inventory, PHQ-9, GAD-7).
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and case management.
