TeamHealth is hiring a full-time nurse practitioner (NP) or physician assistant (PA) to work in a skilled nursing facility environment in the Seattle area rounding on patients 5 days per week. This job includes the flexibility to set your own schedule, autonomy over your practice, uncapped earning potential and the opportunity to build a position that matches your ideal lifestyle and career goals.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform primary care in a skilled nursing facility setting for short term and long-term patients
Manage chronic disease, diagnose illnesses and medical conditions, and implement plan of care
Order and interpret lab results
Prescribe and monitor medications
Consult with physicians and coordinate patient care with other healthcare providers
Educate patients and their caregivers on coping skills to handle chronic and age-related

Strong clinical skills, work ethic, and ability to work independently
Adaptability and flexibility to address the fluctuations that occur during the aging process and with chronic illness

Requirements:
1 or more years of experience in primary care
Post-acute care experience a plus but not required
Active and unrestricted nurse practitioner license in the state of Washington
Active and unrestricted DEA for the state of Washington
Compensation and Benefits:
Our compensation is a productivity-based model (Fee for Service) that offers you control to maximize your income potential. Expected compensation is estimated salary range of $122,000 to $142,000 annually. This full-time role is benefit eligible.
