This faculty position is an opportunity to provide independent clinical services and play a critical role in supervising and directing advanced practice providers and nurses in delivering exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to mentor medical students and urology residents in all aspects of clinical urology. The position entails working closely with a multidisciplinary team of colleagues and staff in providing clinic services at the prestigious University of Colorado Cancer Center Urologic Oncology Clinic, as well as performing inpatient and outpatient surgeries primarily at University of Colorado Hospital. Collaboration with colleagues, hospital and clinic staff will be integral to this role, allowing for a dynamic and rewarding work environment. Work Location:

Onsite - This role is expected to work onsite in Aurora, Colorado. Possible work also at UCHealth Highlands Ranch Hospital (25 miles from the main campus).

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

This is an open rank position and could be categorized as Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor based on experience and qualifications as indicated below:

Assistant Professor

* Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine
* Board certified or board eligible in urology
* Ability to obtain license to practice as a physician in the state of Colorado with prescriptive privileges.

Associate Professor:

* Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine
* Board certified or board eligible in urology
* 5 years' experience in Urology
* Ability to obtain license to practice as a physician in the state of Colorado with prescriptive privileges.

Professor:

* Medical degree from an accredited school of medicine
* Board certified or board eligible in urology
* 7 years' experience in Urology
* Ability to obtain license to practice as a physician in the state of Colorado with prescriptive privileges.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Fellowship trained in Urology
* Experience in an academic clinical environment.
* Ability to communicate clearly as an integral member of a team

Anticipated Pay Range:

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE:

Assistant Professor: $351,036-$405,390

Associate Professor: $411,655- $474,588

Professor: $469,368- $552,365

The above salary range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
