Job Type: Full-time

Job Description: The Lathrop R-II School District is seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech/Language Pathologist to join our team. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with educators and other professionals to assess, diagnose, and treat speech and language disorders among students. As a vital member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in providing intervention services to support students in achieving their communication goals and maximizing their academic potential.

Responsibilities:

* Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders among students.
* Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's unique needs and goals.
* Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
* Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to implement effective intervention strategies and support students' communication skills across various educational settings.
* Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
* Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of assessment results, progress reports, and treatment plans.
* Stay current with best practices, research, and advancements in the field of speech-language pathology.

Qualifications:

* Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
* Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), or eligibility for certification.
* State licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
* Experience working with school-aged children preferred.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
