Summary:
Provides advanced clinical knowledge in the management and care of central lines catheters, mid-lines, and peripheral lines. Serves as a resource for staff, patients, and families with regard to central lines catheters, mid-lines, and peripheral line therapy assessment, products, and troubleshooting. Collaborates with physicians, case managers, and nurses to identify patients needing mid to long-term vascular access devices.

Essential:
* Associate in Nursing
Education specialization:
Essential:
* Completion of a nursing program from an accredited school of Nursing.
* Completion of an 8 hour Peripherally Inserted Central Catheters and Midlines Course.
* American Vascular Association (AVA) or Infusion Nurses Society (INS)
Experience:

* Three years of releated experience
Credentials:
Essential:
* Registered Nurse
* BLS
* ACLS
