Description:

Job Summary: Responsible for sanitary, appetizing, appealing preparation and serving of all meals. The cook will be responsible for maintaining sanitation of the food preparation


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

o Prepare meals incorporating portion control procedures. Utilizing menus and recipes assigned by the supervisor

o Prepare food and assist in serving of meals

o Maintain cleanliness of equipment used in food preparation area

o Prepare for serving refreshments or special meals or events

o Perform assigned cleaning tasks as scheduled

o Assist Dining Supervisor when necessary

o Assist other dietary personnel when necessary


Park Village Pines is a non-profit, Christian assisted living community for the elderly. We have great pride in our meals cooked and served and overall dining experience for residents. All employees of Park Village Pines have built a culture of providing great care to those who live in this community. Requirements:

Qualifications:

* Previous experience and/or education in cooking / culinary skills

o Ability to lift, push, pull at least 50#

o Must be aware of the condition of equipment and dietary area. Advise manager of items needing maintenance or attention.

o Must demonstrate superior skills and interest in the following duties and responsibilities.

o Must be willing to perform repetitive tasks.

o Be available to work weekends and holidays as necessary

* Must be adaptable, dependable


Pay rate dependent upon experience: $15.50 per hour to start




Compensation details: 15.5-15.5 Hourly Wage
