Role Description
This is a part-time on-site role for a Licensed Vocational Nurse teaching CNA Students at Response Healthcare Education, LLC located in Hanford, CA. The Licensed Vocational Nurse will be responsible for providing patient care, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with treatments and procedures under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician. The Licensed Vocational Nurse will also be responsible for documenting patient information, communicating with healthcare providers and patients, and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients.
The LVN will be able to choose their own hours and days staying within the program recommendations.
Qualifications
  • Valid license as a Vocational Nurse in the state of California
  • Experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a clinical or hospital environment
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and follow instructions
  • Assistance with board certification is also available.
