Registered Nurse Unit Manager

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of nurses and support staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care
- Coordinate and optimize resource allocation to maintain an efficient workflow
- Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures that adhere to regulatory standards
- Evaluate and monitor the performance of nursing staff and provide necessary coaching and feedback
- Facilitate the professional growth and development of nursing staff through mentorship and training programs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans that meet the needs of patients
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and quality standards
- Address and resolve patient and staff concerns promptly and effectively
- Assist in budget planning and control expenses within the nursing unit
- Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience as an RN
- Prior experience in a leadership or management role, preferably as a nurse manager or charge nurse
- Thorough understanding of nursing principles, practices, and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated leadership and team-building abilities
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to work various shifts and weekends as needed
- Proficiency in using electronic medical records and other relevant healthcare software
- Current BLS certification (Basic Life Support)

Pay Rate: $1,640 - $1,720 based on experience

Shift and Time: 3:00pm - 11:30pm
Experience required: Minimum of 2years
License Required: RN Compact License
Certificates Required: BLS
