Job Title: Telemetry Registered Nurse (Night Shift)

Location: harvey, IL

Employment Type: Full-time, Contract (13 weeks)

Shift: Night Shift, 3x12-hour shifts (19:15 - 06:45)

Number of Positions: 10

Pay Rate : $45/hr on W2

Overview:

We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses specialized in telemetry to join our dynamic healthcare team. As a Telemetry Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing acute changes in patients' conditions, primarily focusing on telemetry monitoring. This role requires proficiency in interpreting EKG rhythms, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings, identifying and reporting any abnormal rhythms or changes in patient status promptly.

- Assess and document patients' conditions, including vital signs and symptoms, accurately and comprehensively.

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to hospital policies and protocols.

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.

- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their conditions, treatments, and self-care practices.

- Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, adhering to infection control and safety guidelines.

- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.

Qualifications:

- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of [Insert State].

- Proficiency in interpreting EKG rhythms and telemetry monitoring.

- Experience with initiating and maintaining cardiac drips (e.g., dobutamine, amiodarone, cardizem) is preferred.

- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.

- Flexibility to work night shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
