POSITION SUMMARY: The Certified Lactation Consultant reports to the Perinatal Education Supervisor. Provides information and education regarding breastfeeding to patients and families. Assists patients with the establishment of lactation, Identifies and aids in resolution of breastfeeding difficulties, develops care plans with staff to meet patient#s individual needs, providing follow-up through phone calls or private consultations.
