Exciting opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

Must be a US Citizen. No C2C.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate technical proficiency in providing healthcare services as per the government's requirements.
  • Maintain fluency in spoken and written English to effectively communicate with patients and colleagues.
  • Provide documentation upon request to verify current licensure, certifications, and ongoing competency.
  • Adhere to the Facility's Medical Staff By-Laws, rules, and regulations governing medical staff behavior.
  • Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards in the provision of care, treatment, and services.


Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status.
  • Develop and implement appropriate care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as necessary.
  • Educate patients and families on healthcare management and preventive measures.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient encounters and treatment plans.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care outcomes.


Preferred Experience and Attributes:

  • Current unencumbered license as a Nurse Practitioner in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.
  • Citizenship of the United States.
  • Certification in VHA-approved Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association.
  • Board certification as a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner in family practice by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
  • Minimum of 5 years of recent experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Preference for candidates with experience in the Veterans Affairs (VA) healthcare system.
  • Certification of non-inclusion on the OIG excluded parties list for all personnel.
