General Responsibilities The Med Trip Driver/Programmatic Float position is designed to assist across the children#s services department working with the individuals served. The position assists in transporting individuals during medical trips, and maintaining level of supervision during medical trips. The position also supports in ratio across both programs when not supporting medical appointments. Populations served are intensely physically challenging.# The position requires that staff be aware that individual who are served may exhibit aggressive and/or self-injurious behavior.# Individual served may have had multiple treatment failures prior to this placement.# This requires this position#to be constantly alert and ready to respond to the individual#s needs according to effective behavior analytic interventions. # Starting Rate: $17.00/hour + (based on years of experience) Schedule: Monday- Friday 7am-3:30pm # Basic Qualifications Education/Training:## High School diploma required, 50 college credits or more preferred.## Certifications/Licensure: Successful completion of employer provided certification in CPR, First Aid, Medication Administration, and Crisis Prevention/Intervention. A valid US Driver#s license, must be able to meet requirements to become an approved Melmark driver, and a minimum age of twenty-one (21) years old. Skill(s):# Working knowledge of Windows Operating Systems and Microsoft Office.# Experience:# A minimum of one year experience in related field preferred.
