Job Title: Linux DevOps Engineer Job Description: We are seeking a talented cleared Linux DevOps Engineer to join our innovative IT team
As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our infrastructure, focusing on Linux-based systems
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Linux administration, automation, and a passion for streamlining development and operations processes
Responsibilities:
• Design, deploy, STIG, and maintain Linux-based systems and infrastructure to support our applications and services.
•  Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline and automate processes, ensuring efficient and reliable delivery of software.
•  Build, implement, and manage continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
•  Configure and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Terraform.
•  Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure high availability and scalability across multiple customer networks.
•  Collaborate with security teams to implement and maintain robust security practices within the infrastructure.
•  Manage and optimize cloud-based environments, such as OpenStack, KVM, AWS, RKE2, and on-prem bare metal.
•  Stay abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in DevOps and Linux administration
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Active and current security clearance (Top Secret/SCI) is mandatory.
• Proven experience as a Linux System Administrator or DevOps Engineer.
•  Proficient in scripting languages like Shell, Python, or Ruby.
•  Experience with infrastructure configuration tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
•  Strong understanding of building and maintaining CI/CD concepts and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
•  Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, RKE2, Helm).
•  Knowledge of auditing, monitoring, and logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack).
•  Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
