As the Strategic Platform Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of image sensor technologies and driving innovation within our organization. Your deep expertise in image sensor technology, strategic vision, and leadership skills will be crucial in setting the technology roadmap and achieving our ambitious goals.Technology Strategy and Roadmaps:Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with onsemi's overall vision and objectives. Drive the long-term technology roadmap for image sensor development within the Industrial and Consumer Sensing Division, ensuring alignment with market trends, customer requirements, and business goals.Provide strong technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team, overseeing all aspects of image sensor development flow: Marketing requirements, Pixel KPI, Design Architecture, Prob/Test and Packaging. Foster a culture of innovation and excellence, promoting best practices and encouraging the use of cutting-edge technologies. Drive research and development activities related to image sensor technology. Stay at the forefront of industry trends and emerging technologies, driving continuous improvement and innovation in our product offerings.Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, marketing, design, and fabs, to ensure seamless integration of technology solutions into our products. Drive collaboration and effective communication across teams to optimize efficiency and achieve project milestones.Lead, mentor, and inspire a large engineering team, including technical leads and specialists, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning. Provide guidance and support in career development and performance management.Identify strategic partnerships, collaborations, and alliances with industry leaders, research institutions, and technology providers to leverage synergies, access new markets, and enhance our competitive advantage.QualificationsExtensive experience (10+ years) in image sensor technology, with a deep understanding of the design, development, and manufacturing processes. Strong knowledge of image sensor architecture, signal processing, and characterization.Ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor technical professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.Strategic Vision: Ability to develop and execute a technology strategy aligned with business objectives. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate market trends, identify opportunities, and make informed decisions.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Proven ability to collaborate across functions and build strong relationships with internal and external partners.Education: Master’s degree (PH.D preferred) in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field.#LI-BG1onsemi is excited to share the base salary range for this position is $205,505.00-$359,835.00 exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. The final pay rate for the successful candidate will depend on geographic location, skills, education, experience, and/or consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
