Shift: Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 4:30pm, every other weekend

Salary Range: $14.80 to $23.32 per hour based on experience

Responsibilities:
* Communicate with medical and nursing departments to optimize nutrition care and ensure the quality and delivery of food.
* Counsel patients and their families on prescribed diets.
* Monitor and evaluate the outcomes of nutrition services and interventions, responding to patient nutritional care inquiries or referring them to the clinical dietitian as necessary.
* Conduct regular patient rounds to assess nutrition intake adequacy and patient satisfaction with meals and meal service.
* Rescreen patients who were not initially identified as being at risk for malnutrition upon admission but have a length of stay greater than 5 days, to ensure all at-risk patients receive appropriate assessment by a dietitian.
* Modify menu selections for patients at the Missouri Psychiatric Center (MUPC) in compliance with diet orders and dietitian instructions.
* Perform unit/department-specific duties and meet expectations as outlined in departmental documents.
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in nutrition or dietetics, or admission in a coordinated or didactic dietetic program, or Dietetic Technician, Registered (DTR) certification by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
