Tax Manager – Regional CPA Firm

Tax ManagerOur client is a regional CPA firm with an office in Westwood and Woodland Hills seeking a Tax Manager to join their culture-centric team. The Tax Manager will primarily focus on corporate tax and serve a diverse range of industries.Responsibilities:Prepare complex tax returns and perform tax researchRespond to tax notices from taxing authoritiesReview tax information supplied by the client and will meet with and/or contact the client regarding general or complex tax questionsRecognize, anticipate, and resolve tax issues and make recommendationsAdapt to the company’s practices, policies, and cultureRequirements:5-8 years of prior experience working in a public CPA firmCPA certified requiredStrong organization, problem-solving and analytical skillsDiligent work ethic and dedication to providing superior client servicePossess integrity, be trustworthy, dependable, and a team player with a cooperative attitudeExcellent communication skills – oral, written and interpersonal with the ability to convey information in a clear and concise manner to upper-level team members and clientsStrong client engagement skillsMust be proficient in corporate, partnership, and individual tax planning and complianceAbility to prepare interim and annual financial statements, including adjusting journal entriesExperience in managing multiple client engagements at the same timePrior basic supervisory experience is preferredProficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and QuickBooks is requiredSalary: $110,000 – $155,000Please send your resume in Word format to:
