Under the direction of a RN or LPN, the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):

* Performs a variety of routine duties involving care of medically ill acute or subacute patients
* Assist patients with daily living activities
* Monitor and record vital signs
* Provide compassionate and respectful care
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure patient well-being
* Observes and reports changes in the behavior and physical status of residents
* Provides a clean and safe environment
* Performs other related duties

Reports:

* RN/ Clinical Nurse
* RN/Nurse Manager
* RN/Assistant Nurse Manager
* Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Supervises:

* None

WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO APPLY

Required Education:

* None

Preferred Experience:

* No previous experience required. One (1) year of job-related experience preferred.

Required Certification/License/Registry:

* Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
* Basic Life Support (BLS)* certification required prior to performing patient care. (*NOTE: Free BLS certification training provided by Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare (TMH) on-site as part of clinical orientation as needed)

NOTE: Orientation requires your availability to complete Clinical Orientation on your first full week (Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm).
