*Job Description:*

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team in the Med/Surg/Tele unit at our facility in New Britain, CT. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

*Responsibilities:*
* Provide direct patient care in the Med/Surg/Tele unit, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
* Monitor and interpret patient vital signs and telemetry readings.
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
* Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
* Educate patients and their families on disease processes, medications, and self-care techniques.
* Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely in the electronic medical record.
* Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards.

*Requirements:*
* Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Connecticut.
* Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in a Med/Surg/Tele setting.
* Current BLS certification; ACLS certification preferred.
* Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a diverse healthcare team.
* Flexibility to work night shifts, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, and every other holiday as required.
