Job Details

Responsibilities

* Provide direct nursing care for specified patients, including appropriate supportive care and administration of chemotherapy, blood components, fluid and electrolyte replacements, and other oncology treatments as prescribed.
* Perform nursing assessments and triage of patient care needs for new and ongoing patients.
* Provide education and support to patients, families, and significant others; acts as an information resource to students, health care professionals, patients, and the public.
* Follow established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards.
* Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

* Licensure: New York Registered Nurse (RN) License & Registration
* Education: Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree
* Certification: Oncology Certification required, Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Life Support (ACLS) required from the American Heart Association

Salary Range

USD $52.14 - USD $78.49 /Hr.

This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
