Cold Spring Hills Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, one of the largest skilled nursing facilities on Long Island, is seeking a Nurse Educator on to join our  team. In this role, you will be an important part of a team who develops, delivers, and monitors all trainings within the facility, including but not limited to business operations, safety, health, proper care, etc. 

Duties

  • Work with Administration, Human Resources, and Nursing Leadership in all aspects of education for the nursing home
  • Must stay in compliance with all state, federal, and government regulations.
  • Develop educational trainings and/or tools to ensure educational compliance for all staff members.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to achieve departmental goals.
  • Demonstrate respect and compassion in every interaction
  • Demonstrate a passion for caring as evidenced by interaction with co-workers, residents, families, and visitors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Previous experience in education preferred
  • Knowledgeable in educational styles and tools.
  • Ability to effectively convey information that staff from different backgrounds can comprehend.
  • Must be computer literate, with excellent working knowledge of all pertinent software.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Management experience preferred
  • Multilingual a plus
  • NYS RN License
