Shift: Day 4x12- Hour (07:00 - 19:00)

Required:

  • Brain Health Unit (BHU): Comprised of two 40-bed units. Staff members in the BHU are good communicators and can set boundaries, hold confidences, and establish and maintain trust.
  • Patients in the BHU are admitted with medical and psychological diagnoses. The length of their stay is between 20-25 days, which provides an opportunity for clinical staff to analyze a patient’s behavior and cultivate a relationship that may help a patient see him- or herself in a better way. GNAs will provide safe, age-appropriate patient care, assisting with activities of daily living while maintaining a safe and clean environment.\
  • Participates and sets up invasive procedures such as PICC line insertions assisting the licensed professional staff as the procedure is performed

    Required experience in: vitals, phlebotomy, EKGs, ADLs, recording intake/output, specimen collection , assisting with ambulation, hoyer lift, wheelchairs

Required Certifications:


  • BLS, AHA CPR, GNA.
