Job Summary: The PRN Infusion Nurse at BrightStar Care of San Luis Obispo is responsible for providing infusion therapy services to patients in the Paso Robles, California area. This is a part-time, hourly position in the healthcare/medical industry. As a PRN (as needed) employee, the Infusion Nurse will have a flexible schedule and will work on an as-needed basis. Paso Robles * Atascadero * Templeton Compensation & Benefits: The PRN Infusion Nurse will receive a competitive hourly wage of $44 to $48 per hour, paid weekly. Responsibilities: - Administer infusion therapy treatments and medications in accordance with physician orders and established protocols - Monitor patient response to therapy and report any adverse reactions or changes in condition to the physician - Educate patients and their families on the safe and proper administration of medications at home - Monitor and order supplies as needed for infusion therapy services - Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care - Adhere to all state, federal, and company guidelines and regulations Requirements: - Valid and unrestricted nursing license in the state of California - Minimum of 2 years of experience in infusion therapy - Current CPR certification - Ability to adapt to changing schedules and patient needs - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively as an individual contributor - Must pass a thorough background check and drug screening EEOC Statement: BrightStar Care of San Luis Obispo provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, amnesty, or status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
