Under general supervision, is responsible assessment of patient financial requirements, counseling patients on insurance benefits and co-payments. Obtains and maintains accurate patient demographics. Supports and adheres to the Oklahoma Cancer Specialists and Research Institute Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required, associate degree preferred. Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a medical business office with insurance procedures and patient interaction required. Must be able to prioritize duties and manage time in such a way as to successfully complete responsibilities as well as others, as assigned. Communication skills written and verbal. Excellent customer service and high level of courtesy and professionalism required.
