REGISTERED NURSE

A Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for the planning, implementing and evaluation of care for a given patient population with the established standards and practices of Crouse Hospital. This process is enacted through direct clinical practice, management of patient care and general professional duties.
Education/Experience Requirements
Required:
* Graduate of an accredited associate degree
* Three (3) years Critical Care experience
Preferred:
* Bachelor of Science in Nursing from accredited nursing program or higher degree
* Bachelor's degree required within 8 years of being hired or those licensed after 2017.
Licensure/Certification Requirements
Required:
* Current New York State licensure as a Registered Nurse
* Basic Life Support (BLS)
* Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
* Critical Care and Coronary classes complete within 6 months
Preferred:
* Certification in a specialty area.
