DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensures loans are moving timely through the funding process.
  • Responds promptly to all correspondence relating to shipped not funded loans.
  • Verifies with investors that shipped loans were received, if capable.
  • Reviews investor websites to monitor status of shipped loans.
  • Obtains, reviews, and clears any conditions timely as requested by the investor whether it be pre-funding or post funding.
  • Works with Settlement Agents, the Lender's Operations staff, etc. to obtain the requested documents.
  • Updates LOS appropriately and accurately as needed.
  • Follows up frequently to obtain outstanding or missing documents.
  • Retrieves and distributes Purchase Advices.
  • Informs auditors of audit misses resulting in an investor suspense.
  • Maintains clear and open communication with all applicable roles and teams.
  • Reviews the signed Closing Packages for errors and updates the LOS accordingly.
  • Prepares original Notes for delivery to warehouse bank.
  • Scans documents received with signed closing package into the LOS imaging system.
  • Pulls packages for scanning issues.
  • Prepares final documents to be sent to service provider.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or two years or more of mortgage related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
