Qualifications

Licensure/Certification/Registration

* Required: RDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer) or RVT (Registered Vascular Technologist)
* Basic Life Support - Health Care Provider (BLS-HCP)

Education/Knowledge

* Completion of an accredited program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography
* Preferred Associates Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography

Applicable Experience

* Required: 1 year
* Preferred: 3 or more years
* Preferred: One year performing general and vascular exams.

Technical/Clinical Skills

Word: Basic Excel: Basic

Working knowledge of ICD-9 (Medical Coding)

Basic knowledge and working experience with Medical Terminology
