RESIDENT SERVICE SPECIALIST

UDR, Inc. and its affiliated companies are seeking a Floating Resident Service Specialist to join our team in our Richmond, VA area. This position will have shared time between 4 communities located in Richmond, Henrico, Glen Allen and Chester, VA. Saturdays required.
Key Qualifications:
* Minimum three years' experience in property management or related business operations.
* Minimum of two years' of office experience is required.
* Ability to positively and proactively handle customer concerns and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong organizational, presentation and communication skills, with high professionalism.
* Proficient with MS Office and Outlook with competent general computer skills.
* Proficient with Web communications, publishing, usability and/or social media.
Essential Job Functions:
As a Resident Service Specialist, you provide team coordination to ensure high quality customer service. You ensure the Resident Service team completes every step regarding move-in coordination, OneSite responsibilities and customer service administration. You handle any walk-in resident concerns collectively with managers. You walk through the move-in ready apartment(s) to achieve optimal resident satisfaction. You coordinate responses to resident service issues as well as track and follow-up on move-in satisfaction. You also walk all amenities and problematic areas on a daily basis to address any deficiencies and follow-up with the service team until resolved. You provide support and act as back-up for the Leasing Consultants and Resident Service Coordinators.
