School Psychologist, Summit ESC

Term: 2024-25 School Year

Qualifications and Possible Job Duties Include:

* Master's Degree in school psychology
* Valid Ohio certificate/license to practice as a school psychologist
* Successful completion of pre-employment screenings
* Such alternative or additional qualifications as the Board may find appropriate, or acceptable
* Contributes to evaluations utilizing diagnostic instruments and techniques appropriate for the area of disability or suspected disability
* Consults with teachers, parents, and other educational personnel on issues related to the education of children with disabilities to ensure the provision of the most appropriate education program
* Conducts formative assessments (CBM's; reading/math probes)
* Assists school staff in implementing or modifying instructional strategies, classroom management procedures, and interventions
* Assists in the implementation of IDEIA
* Keeps abreast of new developments in the field and serves as a resource for other staff members
* All other duties as assigned

Salary: Salary schedule placement commensurate with experience and training.
