UPMC in Central PA is currently seeking a full-time CRNA to join our experienced team in Harrisburg, PA. Our Anesthesiology team includes full complement of CRNAs and Physician Anesthesiologists. Job Opportunity:

* Network of seven hospitals and 160 outpatient and primary care clinics.
* Collegial staff of Physicians, Advanced Practice Partners, Registered Nurses, and Medical Assistants.
* Skilled and diverse team performing a wide range of surgical procedures to include Neurosurgery, Transplant, Cardiac, Obstetric and Pediatric cases.
* EPIC Electronic Medical Record system

Desired Candidate:

* Graduate of an accredited CRNA program
* Ability to acquire a license to practice in the State of Pennsylvania
* Must be able to obtain valid federal and state narcotics certificates.

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia education program required. Knowledgeable regarding controlled substance policies in accordance with Federal and State laws required. Master's degree preferred.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania required. Board Certified, Recertified or eligible by the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists required. CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire.AHA-approved ACLS/PALS certifications as required by institution of employ upon hire.

* Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
* Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
* Registered Nurse (RN)
* Act 33 with renewal
* Act 34 with renewal
* Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
