* The Med Surg RN will float between Lovelace facilities: Lovelace Medical Center, Lovelace UNM Rehabilitation Hospital, Heart Hospital of New Mexico, Lovelace Women's Hospital and Lovelace Westside Hospital.

Responsibilities

* The Registered Nurse is responsible and accountable for the practice of Professional Nursing, to include patient care and staff management assigned to the RN in his/her charge.
* May serve in the role of Charge Nurse and is accountable for professional practice.
* Adheres to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.
* 2-13 week assignments rotating among Lovelace Health System facilities
* Premium differential

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

* Minimum: Associate degree or Diploma of Nursing
* Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license (within 90 days of hire)
* 2 years Medical Surgical nursing experience as RN
* Current BLS; DEPARTMENT MAY ALSO REQUIRE ACLS and/or PALS
* Must be new to Lovelace Health System (not employed by LHS in previous 12 months)

Preferred Job Requirements:

* Desired: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
