Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - PCU - BMT - Special Procedures 48's

Shift: Days / 7a-7p, 12x3, 48 hrs per week, will consider 36's

Length: 13 weeks

Call-Ins: If a traveler call-ins for a contracted shift, the traveler is expected to 1) make up the day during the pay period, if a 0.9 FTE. OR 2) if a 0.9 FTE and unable to make up during the pay period, then the shift will be added at the end of the traveler contract 3) If a 1.2 FTE, any call-in shifts will be added to the end of the contract

Must be able to work 50% of the weekends in their contract

Requirements:

  • KY License
  • Minimum 2 years of experience
  • Skillset Requirements: PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Accessing Ports, Titrate Cardiac drips, and Cardiac Drips
  • BLS
  • ACLS
  • ONS preferred

Other Details:

  • First Time Travelers Accepted
  • Travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if needed

MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS, WEEKEND REQUIREMENT WILL BE BASED ON UNIT NEEDS. TRAVELERS MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 50% OF THE WEEKENDS IN THEIR CONTRACT.

First Time Travelers Accepted

Shift Requirements: 4x12 or 3x12

*** Charge coverage: Pending operational needs, unit charge nurse responsibilities may be needed with provided training and resources.

Certification Requirements: ACLS and BCLS; ONS Preferred

Skillset Requirements: Minimum 2 years of experience, PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Accessing Ports, Titrate Cardiac drips, and Cardiac Drips

Floating Requirements: Unit travelers may be expected to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) with resources provided if needed

Staffing Ratios: 1:5-6

Unit Information: Flex Acuity unit - allogeneic transplants, autos as well. CAR T Cell Transplants - newer type of cellular therapy that has the goal of curative therapy.

COVID-19 Vaccine (Facility Guideline): Not Required

Unit: Bone Marrow Transplant - Special Procedures
