The Frenchtown School District is looking for an Occupational Therapist for the beginning the 2024-2025 school year We are looking for a positive, proactive, and team-oriented certified OT to join our team. This is a 4 to 5 day week position based on the caseload, meetings and documentation necessary to provide quality services. What a great opportunity This individual will :

* Evaluate students preK, K to 12 to determine their functional levels and to identify their special needs.
* Plan and implement therapeutic activities to assist special education students in benefiting from their educational experience.
* Attend ER meetings, IEP, 504 meetings for school district students as well as other meetings to collaborate with staff
* Maintain up-to-date student records including daily notes for Medicaid eligible students, progress monitoring, and other documentation
* Collaborate recommend activities/strategies to school staff to support RTI/Tiered approach
* Attend SIT meetings
* Collaborate with other school staff school-based services to students in all grades.

Current caseload direct service 38 students, 22 consultative

As a bonus, the fortunate individual will work with the Frenchtown School District, which is ranked as one of the highest Class A and AA school districts in the state of Montana.

Qalifications/Requirements: 

* Must have current license in MT
* Preferred 1-2 years experience working with school aged children
* Must obtain all clearances and documentation to work for a school district in MT
* Preferred background/understanding with IEP goal writing, reporting, timelines and other educational processes
