Home Care Pediatric Registered Nurse

Marquis Certified Home Care is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) to join our home care team. As a Home Care Pediatric RN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, personalized care to pediatric patients in the comfort of their homes. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled and caring nurse to make a positive impact on the lives of children and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of pediatric patients to develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as prescribed by the physician.
- Monitor and assess the patient's condition, noting any changes and collaborating with the healthcare team to adjust the care plan accordingly.
- Educate and support patients and their families on managing illnesses, medications, and post-treatment care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families, fostering a positive and nurturing environment.
Qualifications:
- Current and valid RN license in the state of New York.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pediatric RN.
- BLS and PALS certifications required.
- Experience in home care or pediatric nursing preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
