Probation Officer

Western Probation Services serves the counties of Big Stone, Grant, Stevens, Traverse and Wilkin in Minnesota. General responsibilities: provide supervision to adult and juvenile misdemeanor/gross misdemeanor cases, complete investigations, report conclusion to the Court and develop, implement, and restructure probation plans. Should have working knowledge of the Court Services Tracking System software and meet all hiring standards of the Minnesota Department of Corrections. Bachelor's Degree in Corrections, Criminal Justice, Criminology, Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Law Enforcement, Human Services or Education. This is an exempt, non-union, with a competitive salary commensurate based on experience. Excellent benefits package. A valid driver's license is required. Personal vehicle for extensive driving is required.
