Primary ResponsibilitiesIn the role of Colorado Building Engineering Services Market Sector Leader, we'll count on you to support project delivery, team leadership, and business development for projects and pursuits with key clients in the Technology/Mission-Critical market sector. This role will help drive the success of our practice with leadership in the following areas:Project Management and Project Production Plan, direct, and monitor all aspects of large multi-discipline projects or medium-sized projects with a high degree of technical complexity.Oversee project delivery and effective implementation of the QA/QC program.Facilitate effective collaboration within project teams and eliminate hurdles and barriers to success.Support complex engineering projects in market sectors beyond Mission Critical. Team Management and LeadershipAttract and recruit engineering and technical staff in all disciplines to join the Mission Critical team. Assign work and monitor workload among team members. Coordinate staffing and workload with other Mission Critical teams.Provide mentoring and opportunities for team growth and development. Marketing, Business Development, and Client RelationsWork with the global TMT leadership team to assess opportunities in the area and national marketplace. Assist with proposal and fee preparation and staffing for project pursuits.Develop relationships with senior leadership in key client organizations.Serve as the Client Manager for selected clients within the Area or Region.Participate in industry associations and serve as a company role-model in business and community organizations.Area LeadershipWork with Business Group Managers on development and delivery of Area market sector initiatives.Collaborate with section managers on project staffing, project technical support, and project pursuits.Work with Area business group leadership to implement process improvements, facilitate work sharing and assist in applying key staff/expertise to projects.QualificationsRequired QualificationsMinimum 10 years of engineering experience in Mission-Critical industries.Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering, planning or a related field.Registration as a Professional EngineerExperienced in development and management of strategic marketing programs for planning and/or engineering services.Experienced in development and management of a wide range of client relationships and specific program and/or project pursuits.Experienced in overall staff development to include recruiting, career path and professional growth.Experienced with industry associations and maintains a visible profile in the market sector.Ability to work cooperatively with Market Sector Directors, Business Class Directors, Regional Business Group Director, Area Business Group Managers, Area Marketing Managers and Area Managers.Demonstrated commitment to HDR values. The expected compensation range for this position is $154,000 - $220,000 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
