Experienced providers with clean malpractice records and blocks of 4 shift availability are encouraged to apply and become part of our locum tenens roster

Opportunity Specifics:

  • Hours: Varies Depending on Site
    • Available Shifts:
      • 4 10's
      • M-F 8-hour shifts
      • Evenings (1p - 11p)/(3p - 11p)
  • Medically Supervised Practice Model
  • Cases: Full Scope, General, Endoscopy, Neuro, Urology, Gyn, Ortho, OB
  • EMR: EPIC
Job Description:
  • Assist in the directing and coordinating of activities in the Anesthesia Department
  • Responsible for the medical management of patients who are rendered unconscious and/or insensible to pain and emotional stress during surgery and other medical procedures
  • Pre-anesthesia assessment
  • Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients
  • Induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
  • Monitoring patient’s physiological condition
  • Performance of clinical intervention as needed
Candidate Requirements:
  • Active Missouri State License
  • Graduate of an accredited program of nurse anesthesia education
  • Certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
  • Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
  • Clear personal & professional background
