Are you ready to build your career by joining a healthcare provider? If so, our client is hiring a Registered Nurse 3S Comp-Med Stepdown (Day).

 

What You'll Do: 

  • The practice of nursing requires specialized knowledge, judgment, and skills to provide care to groups and individuals.
  • Utilizes knowledge derived from the principles of biological, physical, behavioral, social, and nursing sciences to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
  • All care is provided based on the concepts inherent in the model of care which promotes an on-going partnership between patients and families and the team of healthcare providers.
  • Culturally based and age specific.
  • Adheres to American Nursing Association (ANA) code of ethics and to the scope of practice described in the Ohio Nurse Practice Act.
  • Demonstrates the knowledge, abilities, and skills to provide age and culturally specific patient care and education.
  • Effectively communicates with peers, utilizes appropriate channels of communication, and maintains absolute confidentiality.
  • Maintains competence and demonstrates evidence of continuing professional growth.
  • Demonstrates the ability to accept and implement change and the ability to work in a culturally diverse setting. 

What You’ll Bring: 


  • 1 year step down/telemetry experience NIH preferred.
  • Required Education:

    • Diploma of Nursing.


  • BSN is Preferred.
  • Required Certifications & Licensure:

    • Ohio RN License or Compact.
    • BLS (American Heart Assoc.)
    • ACLS (American Heart Assoc.)
    • NIH stroke scale
    • Gastroenterology


  • Required Skills:

    • Patient care
    • Cardiac
    • Gastroenterology
    • Oncology
    • Cardiology


  • Days and every other weekend.
  • 36 hrs. in a week, 12 per day and 3 days in a week.
