Avera is currently seeking Registered Nurses (RN) looking to deliver the best possible nursing care in Avera's patient-focused settings.

***On site position located in Mitchell, SD

Job Summary

+ Responsible for developing and enhancing telemedicine applications and working with physicians and their office staff in coordinating telemedicine sessions.

+ Nursing assessment skills required to care for the complex patient.

+ Computer skills required for documentation and data collection.

+ Follows proper procedures and policies regarding telemedicine consultations.

+ Communication to care team and family members.

+ Strong patient advocate.

+ Responsible for addressing patient billing concerns and questions as it pertains to telemedicine charges.

Education and/or Experience

+ Prior experience related to telemedicine and videoconferencing equipment is desirable.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

+ Current license as a Registered Nurse in South Dakota.

Work Schedule

+ Day shifts; 72 hours 2 weeks

+ No weekends/holidays/call time

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

+ $26.25 - $39.25 per hour
