Summary You will serve as a SHOP PLANNER (GENERAL) in the SUPPLY DEPARTMENT, PROJECT SUPPORT DIVISION (Code 530) of PEARL HARBOR NSY AND IMF
Duties
• You will perform Job Readiness Cell (JRC) planning functions for Supply Department including establishing Project Support Material and Point of Use areas.
• You will be responsible for ensuring project support procurements for the supply department and in support of trade shops and projects have all equipment and materials necessary to complete all supply operations in Shipyard.
• You will review Job Material List (JML) to determine materials and equipment to accomplish ship maintenance and repair work.
• You will communicate orally and in writing to communicate with various levels of personnel to answer questions, resolve work problems, and give technical assistance in trade related requirements.
• You will have knowledge of manufacturers catalogs and other reference books to obtain specifications for requisitioning required materials.
• You will be able to interpret Technical Work Documents (TWD), drawings, process instructions, specifications, Manuals, technical manuals and standards, and work request documents

You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites
You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time
Qualifications Although a specific length of time and experience is not required for most trade and labor occupations, you must show through experience and training that you possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying
Qualification requirements emphasis is on quality of experience, not necessarily the length of time
