Pay Range: $ 51.76/hr - $ 60.82/hr - $ 69.88/hr *Please note, the highest starting rate as a new hire is 60.82/hr, based on applicable experience *This position will also receive a 15% per diem differential# POSITION SUMMARY: Ability to communicate effectively with the pertinent personnel to schedule and coordinate simulation and treatment appointments.# Able to follow directions accurately, both verbally and written.# Under the general supervision of the Chief Radiation Therapist or Director, administers ionizing radiation to the patient in accordance with the prescription and instructions of the Radiation Oncologist.# Collaborates with nursing, dosimetry, clerical staff and physicians to provide safe and effective care.# Participates in department quality improvement activities, billing completion, and other projects as directed.# EDUCATION / TRAINING / EXPERIENCE: Desired: 2 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist. Prior clinical experience with Varian Radiation Therapy equipment and software. Prior experience in the treatment of SRS and SBRT.
