Job Title: Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)


Location: Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania


 


Position Overview:


As the Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) you will be a key member of our leadership team, working closely with the Director of Nursing to oversee the nursing department. Your leadership and expertise will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of care for our residents.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing (DON) to manage and coordinate nursing services.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, facility policies, and best practices.
  • Participate in staff training, education, and development initiatives.
  • Contribute to quality improvement efforts and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist with administrative and operational responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:



  • Current RN license in the state of Pennsylvania.
  • Proven experience in nursing leadership or management, ideally in a long-term care or healthcare setting.
  • Strong clinical skills, including experience in long-term care.
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations relevant to long-term care facilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A deep commitment to patient well-being and the delivery of high-quality care.
