Monday through Friday 3pm - 1130pm

Schedules and oversees Registration Coordinators daily job assignments. Responsible for the department's operational excellence, ensuring that the department delivers quality service in accordance with professional standards. Promotes effective working relations with all stakeholders both internal and external to the department, in order to meet established goals.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:

* Minimum 3-5 years of Supervisory experience in a hospital setting
* In depth knowledge of admitting and registration functions.
* Strong track record in managing people, workflow, quality initiatives, projects and associated productivity
* As a working supervisor, will oversee all staff functions including orientation and training, work schedule, payroll, performance monitoring and review
* Skilled in software programs to include Excel and Word
* Must have excellent oral and written communication and customer service skills in working with stakeholders across the care continuum, including patients, families, physicians and colleagues.
* Demonstrated ability to prioritize and coordinate responsibilities
* Must enjoy working in a busy, diversified environment.
* Detail oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and problem solve as needed

Preferred Skills/Qualifications/Training/Experience:

* Meditech and Cerner experience a plus
* Medical terminology a plus

Educational Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent. College graduate preferred.

License/Certification: N/A
