As a Clinician IV/Supervisor you will immediately be engaged in providing supervision, training, and oversight to Clinicians that are dedicated to improving the lives of underserved youth and families ravaged by trauma. This position is perfect for those looking for experience within adolescent mental health, behavioral health, or psychology. Experience as a case manager, adolescent therapist, mental health therapist, program lead, behavioral health counselor, mental health professional or clinical administrator is useful. Experience in clinical interventions, crisis work, and clinical supervision is preferred.

Compensation: In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the expected starting salary for this position is $70,193.76 per year. Actual pay may be adjusted based on experience and other job related factors as permitted by Colorado law.

Schedule: Generally, Monday - Friday during normal business hours. However, at times, accommodations may need to be made to meet the individual needs of a client, their family, staff members, and the program overall. This may indicate the need for working hours later in the evening. Some flexibility around scheduling may be required. However, Shiloh House leadership works diligently alongside Clinicians and Supervisors to develop schedules that align with personal needs and self-care

Areas of Responsibility:
  • Provide support, training, and supervisory oversight to a group of independent, eager, and creative Clinicians that have a thirst for knowledge and growth
  • Provide program support, training, and oversight to ensure that the campus consistently provides trauma informed, trauma responsive, and strengths based services. Your expertise is essential
  • Participate in program development and oversight
  • Provide life changing and individualized direct clinical services including individual, family, multi-family, and group therapy for a blended caseload of youth with significant trauma, mental health, and behavioral health needs, which may include youth in need of offense specific treatment. Supervisors typically carry a small caseload (2-4 youth) to keep clinical skills sharp and to support the clinical team and Shiloh House's mission
  • Most frequently, for this position, clinical services provided will be for youth placed in one of Shiloh House's residential treatment programs and/or a day treatment program and will occur on site. However, from time-to-time Clinicians are asked to support a youth and their family on an outpatient basis. This may indicate that services may occur in the office and/or in the home.
  • Complete case management responsibilities as needed, dependent on caseload.
  • As needed, complete clinical documentation including, but not limited to: assessments, treatment planning, progress reports, discharge summaries, court reports, and notes in a timely manner and in accordance with the guidelines set forth by local and national licensing and accrediting bodies.
  • While not common, Clinical staff may infrequently be asked to assist with transportation to non-medical appointments such as a court hearing or other important meeting.
  • Develop, implement, maintain, and utilize behavior management techniques with clients to ensure that their clinical needs are met. This may include detailed planning and instruction to other direct care staff members.
  • After an introductory period as well as robust training and shadowing, all Clinicians and Clinical Supervisors participate in a Clinical On Call rotation. Clinicians are typically only on call 2-3 times per quarter and are rarely asked to physically respond to facilities. Rather, Clinical On Call needs are addressed virtually with support from other professionals via Shiloh House's layered on call system
  • Participate in internal and external meetings, task forces, and work groups as assigned and as needed.
  • Effectively document supervision and training per agency documentation requirements.
  • Participate in annual performance reviews with assigned supervisees on an annual basis.

Requirements

  • Must be excited to work in a collaborative, fast paced, and acute environment dedicated to the provision of top notch clinical services to underserved populations
  • Must be driven to continuously pursue career advancement
  • Must have a Masters degree in Counseling or Social Work (MSW). If the degree is a counseling degree it is preferred (not required) that the degree is from a CACREP accredited school. If the school is not CACREP accredited proof of completion of the educational equivalency review at the time of interview.
  • Must be clinically licensed in the state of Colorado (LPC, LCSW, etc)
  • Prior experience providing supervision and training is required.
  • Must be willing to work collaboratively with a wide range of professionals internally and externally.
  • Must have a valid CO driver's license or the ability to obtain one with a clean motor vehicle record
  • Must be able to pass a variety of background checks

  • Must have strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Prior experience working with offense specific youth preferred but not required.
  • Prior experience working in a high acuity fast paced environment is preferred but not required.
