Position: Nurse Evaluator
- Location: East Meadow, Long Island
- Schedule: 1 day per week, 8-hour day shift
- Duration: 1-year contract with possible extension
- pay: $70 per hour
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Experience working in long-term care and nursing home settings
- BSN preferred
- Nurse managers or former RN directors encouraged to apply
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate care provided to residents in long-term care and nursing home facilities using a proprietary tool created for the project. All nurses will be trained by the proect lead
- Monitor facility practices to ensure compliance with quality standards Identify areas for improvement and implement quality improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with Project lead
- Provide feedback and recommendations to management for enhancing care and facility practices.
Training:
- Comprehensive training will be provided to all hired nurses
