Job Summary:
As a Principal Investigator at this Clinical site, you will be responsible for safety monitoring of the in house/post dose safety of study participants enrolled into clinical
trials.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• To provide in house coverage to monitor and treat potential emergency medical
situations for clinical trials participants including hypertensive crisis and cardiac
emergencies.
• Assessment of clinical data and clinical status of participants
• Administration and/ or supervision of emergency drugs
• Performing or supervising emergency medical procedures according to ACLS and/or
protocol guidelines
• Performing Physical Exams as needed
• Decision on transfer of participants to local Emergency Rooms
• Documentation of all occurrences
• Review, initial and date all safety related data in a timely manner to include
laboratory studies, ECGs and all other safety data as dictated by the study
protocol.
• Notification of Principal Investigator and study team of any emergency
situations/treatments/ and/or transfers required
