*_Position Summary:_*

The licensed practical nurse is accountable for the management and administration of medications to the adult and senior adult behavioral health patient. He/she directly assists patients with their personal hygiene, and grooming and is responsible for assisting in maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment.

*_Training and Continued Education_***

*_Minimum Education_*
* Graduation from a school of nursing in practical nursing required.
* Experience in a Behavioral Health Unit preferred.

*_Required Licenses_*
* Current LPN license required.
* BLS required.
* ACLS preferred.
* PALS preferred.
* Advanced Stroke Course preferred.
