Responsibilities

* The Polysomnographic Technician performs comprehensive polysomnographic testing and analysis and associated interventions under the supervision of the Director. • The technician is responsible for providing comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. • The role gathers and analyzes patient information, prepares the patient and environment for testing, maintains a safe and effective testing environment and conducts sleep disorder related testing according to defined practice standards. • The Polysomnographic Technician is expected to perform duties and responsibilities in a manner adhering to policies and procedures set forth by the hospital and department and in accordance with the hospital mission and values.

Qualifications

Required:• RPSGT, RRT, CRTT, or experience in an allied health area.• American Heart Association BLS and ACLS.

Desired:• Prior experience in a sleep lab.
