Do you have a passion for orthopaedics and a love for adventure? Are you a Registered Orthopaedic Technologist (ROT), Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC), or a highly motivated Medical Assistant (MA) eager to learn?

Children's Orthopaedic & Scoliosis Surgery Associates is seeking a dynamic Traveling Orthopaedic Technician to join our growing team This unique position offers the chance to travel locally to our outreach clinics while also filling in at our St. Petersburg and Tampa offices.

In this role, you will:
  • For ROTs and ATCs: Utilize your expertise to provide exceptional on-site support to physicians at our outreach clinics and main offices.
  • For MAs: Gain valuable experience while we train you to become a Registered Orthopaedic Technician (ROT). You will assist with patient care, casting, and splinting across all locations.
  • Foster a welcoming and positive environment for patients and families at every clinic.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring infection control standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to optimize patient flow.

We're looking for someone who:
  • Holds a valid certification as a Registered Orthopaedic Technologist (ROT) or Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) (preferred).
  • OR is a highly motivated Medical Assistant (MA) with a strong desire to learn and become a ROT (we provide comprehensive training).
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with frequent travel (reliable transportation and valid driver's license required).
  • Enjoys teamwork and building rapport with patients and families of all backgrounds.
  • Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
