Job Summary

Elizabethtown Community & Technical College is seeking a Part-Time Lab Instructor for the Respiratory Care Program.

Job Duties:

Duties include, but are not limited to:

* Assist with laboratory exercises and assessments.
* Instruct students in-person in the laboratory setting of the Respiratory program.
* Organize Respiratory supplies and equipment.
* Set up and take down laboratory demonstrations with direction from program faculty.
* Assess student progress in laboratory via skill competency check offs and computer simulation.
* Assist Program Director & Director of Clinical Education in maintaining documents necessary for CoARC program accreditation.
* Stay current with advances in Respiratory Therapy technology and instructional practices via professional development and application in program instruction.
* Communication and collaboration with Program Director, Director of Clinical Education, and Dean of Allied Health to maintain program, department, and college success.
* Participate in in-person and online department and college-wide meetings, committees, and initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate Degree in Applied Science for Respiratory Care, RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist), with a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field preferred.

Additional Skills Requested:

Candidates must have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Candidates should also have experience and sensitivity working with students from diverse backgrounds and a commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment.
